Chasing Consistency, Not PBs: 15 Years of Lessons on the Run

Hi, I'm Keith.Β

I've been running for over 15 years, completing everything from local 5Ks to marathons, although the half marathon has always been my favorite distance.

Like many runners, my reasons for running have evolved over time. I'm no longer chasing personal bests or comparing myself to others. Instead, my focus is on staying consistent, enjoying the journey, and discovering what's still possible with every mile I run.

Running has given me far more than medals and finish times. It's taught me discipline, resilience, patience, and the confidence to keep challenging myself. Every race, training run and parkrun has become another opportunity to learn something new.

Keith Is Running is where I share that journey. Here you'll find race reports, honest parkrun reviews, training updates, monthly reflections and gear reviewsβ€”all based on my own experiences.

My goal is simple: to finish each year stronger than I started it, continue discovering what's still possible, and hopefully encourage others to enjoy their own running journey, whatever stage they're at.

Whether you're an experienced runner, returning after time away, or simply thinking about taking your first steps, I hope you'll find something here to inform, motivate and inspire you.
